Dian and Tim Parker moved to “the beach” in 2003 after a short stay in Chicago. Originally from the Birmingham area, Dian retired after 31 years in education, entered the corporate world as a Membership Manager for PCMA and traveled with the company when they moved the corporate office from Vestavia, AL to Chicago.
Tim, also from the Birmingham area, transferred with Lowes from Birmingham to Illinois and then Florida. He has since opened his own “handy man” business, making good use of all the tools he purchased while working at Lowes.
Dian’s second retirement didn’t last long when Seagrove Baptist Church found itself in need of a secretary. Tim soon found himself as director of the Men’s Ministry and Co-chairman of the Building Team.
Together they have 3 daughters and 4 grandsons.
Mike and Debbie Henry are from Greenville, South Carolina. They lived in Greenville until four years ago when they moved to Florida. They have six grown children and two
grandchildren. Their children range in age from 22 to 42. They have a grand-daughter that is 18 years old and a grandson that is 8. Their grandchildren are the light of their life.
Mike is a licensed residential and commercial contractor. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in building science. He has built churches,
schools, homes, and owned a remodeling business. He is currently working on completing a new resort town in Watersound, similar to Seaside.
Debbie owned a cellular phone business and has a current license as an insurance agent, however, is inactive at this time. She gave up her job to follow her husband
to Florida. Since she has been in Florida, she has worked part time for a local wedding cake designer and has enjoyed being a housewife.
Mike and Debbie are members of Seagrove Baptist Church. They serve on various committees and love serving the Lord.
They look forward to watching after your "home away from home".
